We encourage children to choose topics they are most familiar with and genuinely enjoy. This helps make their writing more heartfelt, and the writing process will also be more fun and enjoyable.

我哋建議小朋友選擇自己最熟悉同喜愛嘅題材,咁樣寫出嚟嘅文章,情感會更加真摯,寫作過程亦會更加有趣、順利。

Submission Period: April 1, 2026 – August 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM (GMT)

How to Submit Your Entry: To ensure a fair and impartial judging process, participants must not include their name or any personal information in their written work, nor use their personal name as part of the story or creative content. Personal details should be provided through the registration form only. Please complete the online submission form to submit your entry:

常見問題

Does the submission have to be handwritten, or must it be typed?

We only accept submissions through the electronic form, and entries must be submitted as a DOC document file. If a participant can only write their work by hand, a parent or teacher may help type the content into an electronic document for submission

作品要手寫定係一定要打字?

我哋只接受電子表格提交作品,作品需要存成 DOC電子檔提交。如果參加者只能手寫文章,家長或教師可代為將文章內容輸入成電子檔後提交。

What if a participant doesn’t know how to type? Are there any tools that can help?

Participants may use voice input tools, TypeDuck, or Cantonese Fonts and other Cantonese Chinese input software to type in Chinese. These tools are designed specifically for writing Cantonese and can help participants enter accurate written Cantonese more easily.

參加者唔識打字點算,有乜嘢工具可以幫手?

參加者可以使用語音輪入法、Type Duck 或 Cantonese Fonts 等粵語輸入法軟件輸入中文。呢啲軟件專為書寫粵語設計,可以幫助參加者更方便咁輸入正確嘅粵文。

Should submissions be written in Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese?

We accept submissions written in either Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese. Final selected works will be published in Traditional Chinese.

要用繁體字定簡體字交稿?

我哋繁體或簡體漢字嘅稿件都會收,最後作品會以繁體字刊登。

How will the judging panel evaluate the submissions?

All entries will be evaluated by the judging panel based on criteria such as content, language proficiency, creativity, and overall presentation. The decisions of the judging panel are final, and all participants are expected to respect the results. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide individual feedback or comments on submissions.

評審團會點樣評審?

所有參加作品將由評審團根據內容、語言能力、創意及整體表現等標準進行評
分。評審團嘅決定為最終結果,參加者需對評審團決定予以尊重。我哋亦無法
提供個別評語。

We are grateful for the enthusiastic support received during last year’s Writing from the Heart event. The participation of young writers, families, and schools showed that Cantonese creative writing continues to have strong meaning within our community. The quality and sincerity of the submissions exceeded our expectations, and the event demonstrated how language, culture, and storytelling can bring people together across different places and generations.

We sincerely thank everyone who took part and helped make the first year of this initiative a meaningful and encouraging beginning.

歲以上嘅海外細蚊仔/細佬哥以及成年人士學中文, 傳揚香港精神、 中華文化與當地文化知識與對照。課程包括廣東話中文班、 GCSE 中文班及 Cantonese for Beginners 班。我哋個個身懷絕技, 唔單止有多年教學經驗, 更加擅於運用遊戲、 桌遊、 電影、 音樂等有趣手法,配合海外語言環境下聽、 說、 讀等特定嘅需要,特別強調提升學生們喺英語環境下學習中文嘅動機。。
