一班搞手， 包括喺香港同埋喺海外生活嘅香港人。 為咗延續粵語文化， 我哋喺唔同地方自發成立咗推廣粵語嘅機構。 原本大家互不相識， 各自喺自己嘅崗位推廣粵語，直到有日有人提出一個構思︰舉辦一個以兒童及青少年為對象嘅全球粵文創作徵文活動。 就係噉，我哋走埋一齊，一拍即合，促成咗粵文徵文活動。

of the organisers, Hongkongers based in Hong Kong or overseas, came together for this initiative. To help keep Cantonese culture alive, different groups had been set up in various places to promote the language. At first, we didn’t know one another; we were each working separately in our own roles, in our own places. Then one day, someone suggested an idea: to hold a global Cantonese writing campaign for children and young people. And just like that, the group formed, clicked immediately, and brought this initiative to life.
感謝大家對「我手寫我心」活動嘅熱心支持。來自年青寫作者、家長同學校嘅踴躍參與，令我哋深深感受到粵語創作喺社群之中仍然具有重要意義。投稿作品嘅質素同真誠程度都超出我哋預期，亦再次證明語言、文化同故事能夠跨越地域同世代，把大家連結起來。
We are grateful for the enthusiastic support received during last year’s for our “Writing from the Heart” project. The participation of young writers, families, and schools showed that Cantonese creative writing continues to have strong meaning within our community. The quality and sincerity of the submissions exceeded our expectations, and the event demonstrated how language, culture, and storytelling can bring people together across different places and generations.
